Former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama is excited for the planned final match of British striking legend Liam Harrison in England next year. He said, if the opportunity presents itself, he would love to be on hand to catch it live in person.
'Hitman' shared his plan of one last match in the United Kingdom following his comeback match at ONE 168 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., on Sept. 6. The Leeds native wants to make a final goodbye in front of his supporters back home where it all began for him.
In a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, which was uploaded on Sept. 11, Nong-O briefly talked about Harrison's potential last fight in the U.K., highlighting how British fans are in for a treat to see one of the best Muay Thai fighters ever for one last time.

"I think it would be great. No matter where he would be fighting, or no matter what kind of gloves he would be wearing. I think his last fight would be a great fight. It would be big. And if I have a chance, I would love to watch him live."

ONE 168: Denver was the first fight back of Harrison after two years. Unfortunately for him, he lost to fellow veteran fighter Seksan Or Kwanmuang in their catchweight (140 lbs) Muay Thai clash by TKO. The defeat prompted him to practically call it a career and decide to have one final match in the U.K. before riding into the sunset.
Incidentally, prior to ONE 168, Harrison was last in action against Nong-O in August 2022 as he vied for the bantamweight gold held then by the Thai fighter. His bid, however, ended abruptly in the opening round after he injured his knee, keeping him on the sidelines for a considerable time.
Nong-O Hama returns to action at ONE Friday Fights 81
While he awaits word on when Liam Harrison's potential last fight will be, Nong-O Hama will be first plunging back into action at ONE Friday Fights 81 on Sept. 27 in Thailand.
The 37-year-old Evolve MMA fighter will go up against on-a-roll Russian Kiamran Nabati in a bantamweight Muay Thai joust, part of the event happening at Bangkok's famed Lumpinee Stadium.
Heading into ONE Friday Fights 81, Nong-O is coming off a unanimous decision win in his last fight back in April over fellow Thai Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai.
Meanwhile, out to clip his push for back-to-back wins is Nabati, 29, who is undefeated in three fights so far in ONE Championship.
