Danny Kingad is eyeing a massive victory in his next encounter, which comes against the top-ranked Adriano Moraes at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug'.

The Filipino standout is scheduled to clash with his old rival in a rematch seven years in the making, airing live in U.S. primetime from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

As such, both former ONE world champions are eyeing a key victory, but for Kingad, he would rather mark this return with an exciting finish – something that has been quite lacking in his performance of late.

Kingad has started working to prepare for his return, and in a recent interview with ONE Championship, he said this about scoring a highlight-reel finish:

"Yes, of course. It’s in my mind now."
"In each fight that I don’t finish my opponents, it bothers me really, and all I can do is to ask coaches [how to increase my chances of winning by KO], go back to the drawing board, and continue to learn."

Moreover, 'The King' would also have to showcase his abilities on the ground, as it was Moraes who forced a tap via rear-naked choke with only a few seconds left in the first round of their initial encounter then.

Danny Kingad guns for a spectacular finish over Adriano Moraes at ONE 169

Danny Kingad might have enjoyed his time fighting all of the top opponents in the organization, but he's only lacking one thing: memorable finish in the distance.

The Lions Nation MMA representative was last seen picking up a finish in his debut and sophomore outing against Muhamad Haidar and Eugene Toquero respectively in December 2016 and April 2017.

And now, Kingad thinks it is time to change the script when he faces his old nemesis Adriano Moraes, like he told MMA Superfan recently:

"If it all falls into plan, I really want to get that knockout. I want that highlight-reel knockout."

Danny Kingad vs. Adriano Moraes II and the entire ONE 169 card will be available live in U.S. primetime to active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
