ONE Muay Thai veteran Prajanchai PK Saenchai recently explained the magnitude of becoming a potential two-sport world champion ahead of his exciting kickboxing world title bout at ONE Friday Fights 68.

The Thai superstar is gearing up for one of the toughest challenges of his career when he goes toe-to-toe with former ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella, this Friday at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Thailand.

With his sights firmly set on becoming a rare double-world champion in kickboxing and Muay Thai, Prajanchai shared exactly what that would entail to him and to his fighting career in ONE Championship.

He told ONE:

"For me, winning ONE World Title in two sports, kickboxing, and Muay Thai, means a lot to my life. It can keep me going for a long time."

Prajanchai worked his way up to this point of his career, not without a few cuts and bruises along the way.

He managed to retrieve an interim Muay Thai belt in May 2022 with a revenge victory knockout over Italian-Moroccan striker Joseph Lasiri. Prior to that, he added a full laundry list of victims to his resume, including Muay Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and Kompetch Sitsarawatsuer.

Now, there's nothing holding him back but to hand Jonathan Di Bella his first career in ONE Championship.

ONE Friday Fights 68 will air live in Asian Primetime. Check your local listings at onefc.com for the availability of the event in your region.

Prajanchai tells his fans "please cheer and encourage me" during fight week

Prajanchai is ultra excited to use the energy of the crowd in Thailand to capture Muay Thai gold on Friday.

As he mentioned before, this fight has been a long time coming. The two superstars were originally scheduled to face each other back in May at ONE Friday Fights 58, but it was canceled at the last minute due to Di Bella falling ill. Not knowing whether or not he'd be back to fight Di Bella, Prajanchai never lost hope.

He hopes to depend on the exciting energy of the Thai crowd to help him achieve his lifelong goal.

On Instagram this week, Prajanchai invited the fans to cheer for him as he takes on the undefeated striker.

"Please cheer and encourage me on this 28th."
