“It is not a difficult task” - Petchtanong unperturbed by Nabil Anane’s freakish height and reach advantage 

Thai legend Petchtanong Petchfergus is not concerned about Nabil Anane's insane height advantage.

Standing at 6'4" tall, the 20-year-old Anane often stands above his competition — literally. He'll do exactly that this Friday night when he goes toe-to-toe with the 5'9" Petchtanong at ONE Fight Night 26 inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Speaking with ONE Championship ahead of his return to the ring, Petchtanong made it clear that he finds nothing intimidating about Anane's size and is confident that his experience will help him handle anything the Algerian-Thai fighter throws his way:

"Have I ever encountered an opponent of such height in my entire career? I never have onemBut it is not a difficult task for me anyway. Actually he is skilled and difficult to fight. But I believe that I will use all my experience to handle everything he throws at me."

Petchtanong will have experience on his side at ONE Fight Night 26

Both Petchtanong and Nabil Anane go into ONE Fight Night 26 with an unbeaten streak they'd desperately like to keep intact.

Anane has won five straight in the art of eight limbs, including a pair of impressive performances against Felipe Lobo and Soe Lin Oo in his last two outings. However, Anane will be strapping in the eight-ounce gloves for the first time in his career, going toe-to-toe with the former world champion in a bantamweight kickboxing bout.

Currently, Petchtanong sits as the third-ranked contender in the 145-pound kickboxing division, having earned a trio of wins against Zhang Chenglong, former ONE world champion Hiroki Akimoto, and most recently, Russian knockout artist Alaverdi Ramazanov.

Having more experience in kickboxing and more than 10x the experience of Anane, it's no wonder why Petchtanong is so confident.
