Two-division Christian Lee may not have gotten the result he wanted at ONE Fight Night 26, but the feeling of lacing on the four-ounce gloves again on martial arts' biggest platform was still something he was thankful for.
The ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion made his eagerly anticipated return in the main event of the promotion's final American primetime showcase inside the Lumpinee Stadium on December 6.
Lee never skipped a beat despite the pressure that came with his return after a lengthy leave. 'The Warrior' put in the work from the sound of the bell, swapping heavy shots with undefeated Turkish challenger Alibeg Rasulov until the anti-climactic ending due to an accidental eye poke.
The 26-year-old superstar reflected on his return, which marked his 22nd fight in ONE Championship, during the post-event press conference, saying:

"It feels great to be back in action. It was almost two years since I was last in there, and I felt good moving around in the ring."
Though he didn't get his hand raised, Lee still kept hold of his lightweight crown as the match ended in a no-contest.
Christian Lee stacks praise on Alibeg Rasulov's stand-up game
While all eyes were on Christian Lee's ability to do what he does best inside the ONE Circle, Rasulov kept the world champion worried with his firepower in the striking department.
The Turkish star, who booked his shot at Lee's 26 pounds of gold with a dominant unanimous decision win over Ok Rae Yoon this past July, didn't back out from any exchanges on the feet.
Lee spoke about Rasulov's hands during his post-fight interview with the Bangkok Post, offering:
"He trained hard, and his striking was sharp tonight."
