Takeru Segawa continues his quest to inspire the younger generation inside and outside the ring.
The Japanese superstar had a recent charity drive in Laos where he went around schools donating school supplies to children and paying for the installation of water purification systems.
Taking to Instagram, Takeru wrote that he wants a better environment for schoolchildren to pursue their dreams while keeping up with their scholastic responsibilities.

Segawa posted:
"I went around to schools in Laos and held a kickboxing class 🇱🇦🥊Everyone was so energetic and cheerful, it gave me energy ✨I donated Christmas presents such as stationery, as well as the cost of installing a drinking water purification system and repairing toilets! I hope everyone can pursue their dreams and goals in a hygienic environment 🙏🏼"
Often recognized as one of the greatest Japanese kickboxers in history, Takeru used his reach to inspire people not only through his exploits between the ropes.
The former three-division K-1 Kickboxing world champion is the seventh-generation Tiger Mask and now carries the character's responsibility of helping the younger generation achieve their goals.
Takeru, who initially dreamt of becoming a childcare worker, has since helped build a school in Vietnam and a children's canteen in his home nation of Japan.

Takeru Segawa is determined to put on the best possible showing when he takes on Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a highly anticipated super-fight.
The pair of striking legends will face off in a flyweight kickboxing showdown in the main event of ONE 172 on March 23, 2025, at Saitama Super Arena.
In the card's press conference, Takeru said:
"I can finally fight. This match isn't for anyone else. I'll do what I want to do. I'll enjoy the fight to the fullest. I'll have the greatest showdown of my life as a fighter. Please support me! I'll definitely win."
