Mikey Musumeci is always promoting the benefits of being a clean fighter, and he's in the constant battle fighting the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs).
Recently, he took it up a notch when interviewed by Cageside Press ahead of his epic clash with ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6.
'Darth Rigatoni' said that if Brazilian jiu-jitsu was featured in the Olympic Games, none of the American athletes would be able to compete except for him and the Ruotolos.

Musumeci said:
"The problem is, it would just be me and the Ruotolos representing the USA, which is good because we'll have three weight classes, but everyone else can't pass a drug test. So, for the USA, we'll be kind of screwed. And Brazil, all those guys will go on steroids too."
Wittingly, he also threw shade at PEDs users:
"I don't know, it might just be us, me and the Ruotolos there will be looking around. 'Where's everyone?' We'll all get participation medals. We'll get on the podium with no one on it. You just have the gold medal. Kade, Tye, and I will take a picture together."
