Reigning and undisputed ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion 'The Warrior' Christian Lee of the United States was just as shocked as everyone else when his main event showdown with undefeated Turkish fighter Alibeg Rasulov ended abruptly.
An accidental eye poke in round two forced a halt to the contest after Rasulov was deemed unable to continue by the ringside physician.
Speaking to the media at the ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Prime Video official post-fight interviews, Lee admitted he did not realize the severity of the situation until he tuned in to the replay.

"I didn’t actually know about the eye poke until I saw it on the replay after some time across the opposite corner. But you know, I saw on tape that there was an eye poke and it was just unfortunate that my opponent wasn’t able to continue."
Lee fully expects to meet Rasulov in a rematch sometime down the line, but also maintained he was ready to face any challenger for his two belts.
ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Prime Video was broadcast live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, this past Saturday, December 7. Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action via replay on-demand with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
