Phetjeeja would love the opportunity to test herself against Swedish teen phenom Smilla Sundell.
After earning four straight wins in the art of eight limbs, 'The Queen' scored her first shot at ONE gold, challenging Anissa Meksen for the interim ONE atomweight kickboxing world championship. Delivering a stellar performance against the seven-time titleholder, Phetjeeja would take home the crown before trading in the interim belt for undisputed gold against Janet Todd three months later.
Hoping to add a Muay Thai world championship to her collection, 'The Queen' recently spoke about the possibility of a showdown with former ONE strawweight Muay Thai world titleholder, Smilla Sundell.

"If it does really happen, Smilla will definitely have the advantage of height and length," Phetjeeja told Sportskeeda MMA. "I think it’ll be a long shot for me, but as always I will do my best."
Like Smilla Sundell, the Thai sensation carries a perfect record under the ONE Championship banner, dispatching her first six opponents with ease.
Would Phetjeeja's experience advantage be enough to overcome the physical challenge of fighting Smilla Sundell?
Standing at 5'9" tall, Smilla Sundell would have a decided advantage in overall size compared to Phetjeeja who stands at a much more modest 5'3".
However, 'The Queen' would have a massive advantage over Sundell when it comes to overall experience.
Despite being only three years older than Sundell, the Thai has more than five times the experience as her Swedish counterpart. 'The Hurricane' has competed in 41 career fights while Phetjeeja has an incredible 214 bouts under her belt. Perhaps even more impressive is her record with 208 wins against just six losses.
