In an interview on the Anything Goes podcast, the bantamweight MMA standout shared how his coaching responsibilities has affected his career:
"I have to make sure that they're ready. It's teamwork. I have to make sure of a lot of things right now. I have to put more emotions in there right now. But also, if things go right, I see my fighters and my students happy, and they achieve what they dreamed of and what they worked for, that feeling is just the best. It makes me happy. It gives me a reason why I'm doing this."
