Thai legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang says he's found a new purpose in training the next generation of Thai athletes in his new gym at Sor Seksan. The Muay Thai legend has already fought nine times throughout his short career in ONE Championship to accomplish one dream: to open up his own Muay Thai gym in Thailand.
Within three weeks of opening, over two dozen kids have signed up to train, making Seksan feel a sense of purpose in helping some of these kids stay out of trouble.
Speaking to ONE Championship, he said:
"Currently, we have around 30 kids coming to train at the gym every day. So far, I've sent many kids to fight in various local boxing rings. It makes me happy to see the kids use the money they earn to buy snacks or give it to their parents."

Seksan hopes to continue making money from his Muay Thai fights to keep funding his gym. He was disappointed with his last performance against ONE newcomer Yutaro Asahi at ONE Friday Fights 58 where his undefeated status in the promotion came to an end.
But he's got another massive opportunity to redeem himself in the most historic way. 'The Man Who Yields To No One' will fulfill another dream by fighting the 'Hitman' Liam Harrison in a catchweight bout in America at ONE 168.
Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
"It is absolutely ridiculous" - UK superstar Liam Harrison says he's stoked to touch gloves with Thai legend Seksan at ONE 168: Denver
If there was just one final opponent that Liam Harrison would like to face before retiring, it would be Seksan Or Kwanmuang. There are not many fights left of this magnitude like Harrison vs. Seksan at ONE 168. So, their historic battle in Denver is going to be a real treat for American fans.
Seksan has a remarkable fighting resume, unlike any other fighter. He's an accomplished multi-time world champion in the most prestigious stadiums in Thailand, including Omnoi and Rajadamnern. His Muay Bouk style - which is a pressure-forward fighting style - is the thing that sets him apart from his competitors.
Liam Harrison, is, therefore, just over the moon with their legendary matchup. Speaking about Seksan, 'Hitman' told ONE:
"He's done everythinofor the sport and the entertainment. He has given (to) the fans over the years by putting his body just out there and on the line. It is absolutely ridiculous, you know?"
