Jarred Brooks is prepared to showcase his fighting skills against "anybody in the world."
In November 2021, Brooks made his ONE Championship debut. Over the last three years, 'The Monkey God' has established a 5-1 promotional MMA record, including one win for the strawweight MMA world title.
Earlier this year, Brooks lost his strawweight crown due to a disqualification against Joshua Pacio. The American superstar later claimed the division's interim world title with a second-round submission against Gustavo Balart.
On Friday, December 6, Brooks will face a new challenge when he moves up to the ONE flyweight MMA division. The 31-year-old is scheduled to face longtime contender Reece McLaren at ONE Fight Night 26.

During an interview with Nick Atkin, Jarred Brooks had this to say about changing weight classes:
"You know, it's whatever ONE Championship wants to do with me. I'm here to show them and I'm here to show Chatri [Sityodtong] that you put me up against anybody in the world, and I'm going to show up and I'm going to win. It doesn't matter which weight."
ONE Fight Night 26 can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription. Friday's event goes down inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

What's at stake between Jarred Brooks and Reece McLaren?
The ONE flyweight MMA world title is vacant following Demetrious Johnson's retirement. Former champion Adriano Moraes recently submitted Danny Kingad, making him a primary option for the inevitable championship fight.
Meanwhile, Jarred Brooks and Reece McLaren have an opportunity to showcase why they deserve to fight Moraes. With a win at ONE Fight Night 26, Brooks would be on track to becoming a two-division MMA world champion.
As for McLaren, the entertaining Aussie is coming off a split-decision win against Hu Yong. He's been in the flyweight MMA division for several years, and now could be his time to claim ONE gold.
Another matchup to keep an eye on is Yuya Wakamatsu vs. Gilbert Nakatani. Number two-ranked Wakamatsu is coming off two consecutive wins and hopes to continue building momentum at ONE Fight Night 26.
