Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, one of Thailand's renowned kickboxing superstars, is truly back in action after adding one more scrap to his list at ONE 167 last Friday, June 7.
The featherweight gave a rough welcome to Japanese sensation Masaaki Noiri in the world's largest martial arts organization via unanimous decision, marking his sixth win in ONE.
With a win in his return to the stacked division against a game opponent, the No. 3-ranked kickboxer sees that he is ready to face another challenger on his way to the top of the division.

Speaking to Sportskeeda, Sitthichai was also filled with relief to see that the fans are welcoming him back into the grind.
The Thai superstar said:
"I’m very happy, and very relieved to know there are such messages because normally I’d see something like, ‘He’s done. He’s at the end of his career.’"
He added:
"But now, to hear that they’re saying stuff like, ‘He’s back’ it means so much."
It's now or never for Sitthichai to run for ONE world title: "The clock is ticking"
Despite his many achievements, Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong is still eyeing for the 26 pounds of gold in ONE Championship.
The 32-year-old Thai fighter had just nabbed the sixth win in ONE and the 129th in his career, but he thinks that he doesn't have much time to reach the pinnacle of the featherweight kickboxing division.
In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship, Sitthichai mentioned that he's at the last stop before walking away from the fight sport world.
He said:
"It motivates me to succeed in the last stop of my career. The clock is ticking, but I still want to fight for my family till the end."
After conquering a heavy task and maybe the biggest challenge in his career, as well as snapping his two-fight losing streak, Sitthichai will most definitely face another strong opponent in his journey to keep his world title aspirations alive.
