Danielle Kelly isn't worried about what could have been. Instead, she's focused on what will be.
Kelly suffered the first setback of her ONE Championship career in August, surrendering her ONE atomweight submission grappling world championship to Mayssa Bastos via a unanimous decision at ONE Fight Night 24.
Returning to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok this Friday night, Kelly will look to erase the mistakes of her past at ONE Fight Night 26 on Prime Video and reclaim the gold she once proudly held around her waist.

While Kelly remains adamant that she should have come out on top the first time around, she's not going to concern herself with the past. Instead, she's focused on making the necessary adjustments to ensure she leaves The Land of Smiles with 26 pounds of gold back over her shoulder. Speaking to ONE Championship, Kelly said:
"Well, I watched the whole match before just so I can study and fix things that I can fix. I thought I won at first, but it's only a 'he said, she said' thing. It doesn't really make a difference what I said. She got the bonus too. Not saying I don't care. It is what it is."
Danielle Kelly has seen nothing new out of Mayssa Bastos after their first match
In the months since their first encounter, Danielle Kelly believes she's made some major strides toward winning back the ONE atomweight submission grappling crown. However, she can't say the same for Bastos who appears to be pulling out the same old moves:
"I feel, even just from watching her ADCC match, which was like two weeks after our first match together, she didn't really change much," Kelly added.
Will Kelly even the series and bring the atomweight grappling crown back to the United States, or will Mayssa Bastos prove once and for all that she has the Silver Fox BJJ star's number?
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 26 live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Dec. 6 in U.S. primetime.
