It's safe to say that Superlek Kiatmoo9 is beyond excited to finally show his stuff in Denver.

The reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion is counting down the days before he challenges two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title in the main event of ONE 168: Denver.

In an Instagram post, Superlek alluded to his excitement for his September 6 clash against Haggerty, who also holds the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title, at Ball Arena in Colorado.

The Thai megastar posted:

"It's almost the day #ONE168"

Superlek, who looked bulkier than usual, was at his usual self of perfecting his kicks while strengthening his cardio in preparation for Denver's unforgiving altitude.

Denver is measured at 1,609 meters above sea level, and that kind of altitude could prove difficult for anyone who hasn't acclimated to the city's thin air.

Nevertheless, Superlek looks ready to not only battle the city's altitude but also bring the fight to Haggerty.

'The Kicking Machine' holds an impressive 14-1 record in ONE Championship, and is on a stellar 10-fight winning streak.

His dominant victory run includes wins over ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, three-division K-1 world champion Takeru Segawa, Daniel Puertas, and Tagir Khalilov.

A win for Superlek would make him the second fighter in ONE Championship to hold world titles across two divisions and two disciplines.

So far, only ONE light heavyweight kickboxing and heavyweight Muay Thai world champion Roman Kryklia holds the rare distinction.

Superlek reveals Liam Harrison invited him for a joint camp ahead of ONE 168

Superlek Kiatmoo9 has surrounded himself with the best possible training partners ahead of his super fight against Jonathan Haggerty.

There is, however, one more person who could lend his help.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Superlek revealed that Liam Harrison offered to hold a joint training camp with him in the lead-up to ONE 168.

"I may join his fight camp before Denver," said Superlek. "Liam has invited me to train with him and mentioned that he’s rooting for me to win against Haggerty.”

Harrison is also preparing for his all-legends clash against Thai icon Seksan at ONE 168.

Tickets for the card are available at Ticketmaster.
