Nothing surprises former two-division ONE world champion Aung La N Sang anymore. Following his distinguished and decorated mixed martial arts career, the 39-year-old veteran is still going strong and has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
At ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6, Aung La will seek to halt another hype train in its tracks when he takes on the undefeated Shamil Erdogan in a three-round middleweight MMA clash at Ball Arena.
Erdogan, who remains perfect in 9 career MMA bouts, is indeed a formidable adversary even for the former middleweight and light heavyweight MMA king.

The Turkish powerhouse showcased a multi-faceted arsenal against Fan Rong at ONE Friday Fights 22 last year, where he shut down 'King Kong Warrior' with a brutal body kick.
Appearing on The AllStar's YouTube channel, Aung La praised Erdogan's skills and incredible run so far. However, the Kill Cliff FC standout said this is not his first rodeo and he's used to giving up-and-coming fighters their first taste of defeat.
'The Burmese Python' shared:
"I have a big task ahead of me, you know. It's not an easy fight, it's a tough fight. But he's not the first undefeated [fighter] I fought. He's not the first strong undefeated [fighter] that I'm gonna beat, you know. So it's not a big deal."

Aung La N Sang guarantees violence at ONE 168: Denver
Aung La N Sang stretched his winning streak to three and delivered an empathic finish of Fan Rong in the promotion's United States debut in Colorado last year.
'The Burmese Python' plans to send the American audiences on their feet once more by doing what he does best against Erdogan.
Aung La furthered:
"I'm envisioning my best performance yet and it's going to be a violent one."
