The UFC has hired a personal security guard for Arman Tsarukyan after the fighter’s controversial incident at UFC 300 in April. Tsarukyan was fined and suspended for nine months by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for throwing a punch at a fan during his walkout.
To avoid further complications, the promotion hired a security guard to accompany Tsarukyan to UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi in October.

Arman Tsarukyan teases official announcement of highly anticipated rematch with Islam Makhachev
Arman Tsarukyan has hinted at an upcoming announcement for his highly anticipated rematch with UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Despite recent claims by Makhachev's manager about stalled contract negotiations, Tsarukyan remains optimistic.
“My manager said that I’m going to fight for the title at the beginning of next year, I’m so excited”[ H/t: Bloody Elbow]
He expects the UFC to officially announce the fight within a few days, possibly as early as Dec. 7 at the promotion's Las Vegas event. The rematch would headline either UFC 311 on Jan. 18 in California or UFC 312 on Feb. 8 in Sydney, with no main event announced yet.
Tsarukyan, who has a 22-3 record, is looking to avenge his narrow loss to Makhachev in 2019, who has since dominated the 155-pound division.
With Makhachev recovering from a hand injury suffered earlier this year, the stage is almost set for the rematch.
