“It’s a dream come true” - ONE newcomer Jordan Estupinan eager to follow in twin brother Johan’s footsteps

ONE Championship newcomer Jordan Estupinan hopes to follow in his twin brother's footsteps.

On Friday, January 24, Estupinan will make his promotion when he meets British up-and-comer Freddie Haggerty, the younger brother of reigning ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty.

However, Jordan Estupinan won't be the only fighter bearing his last name inside the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Also competing at ONE 170 will be undefeated Colombian sensation Johan Estupinan.

Asked what sharing such a big fight card with his twin brother, Jordan Estupinan called it a dream come true and hopes that he can both make his country proud and put on a show for fight fans just as his brother has done over the last year.

"It’s a great honor to be representing my country on the biggest stage in the world for martial arts," Jordan Estupinan told the promotion. "Especially to be doing so with my brother on such a big card. It’s a dream come true. Thank you to ONE for recognizing our talents."

Johan Estupinan looks to extend his unbeaten streak against 18-year-old phenom Johan Ghazali

While Jordan Estupinan makes his professional Muay Thai debut at ONE 170, Johan Estupinan will be looking to extend his unbeaten streak to 27 when he meets 18-year-old prospect Johan Ghazali in one of the most anticipated fights of the night.

Making his promotional debut in May 2024, Johan Estupinan has already bagged four massive wins on martial arts' biggest global stage, including a 27-second KO against Kouta Omori in his ONE Championship premiere at ONE Friday Fights 64.

He's since added three more wins to his resume, finishing Sean Climaco and Zakaria El Jamari in the second round and earning a unanimous decision victory over Zafer Sayik at ONE 167 in June.

Will Estupinan score his fifth straight win in ONE and keep his 'O' intact, or will American-Malaysian sensation Johan Ghazali hand him the first loss of his career?
