“It’s not failure” - Adriano Moraes says ups and downs are just a part of a fighter’s life

Former ONE flyweight MMA world champion and current first-ranked contender 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes of Brazil has been around the block, and then some.

The 36-year-old American Top Team / Constrictor Team product has been at the top of the fight game for the greater part of the last decade, scoring massive victories and winning world titles in ONE Championship.

But even he has faced his fair share of heartbreaking setbacks in his career.

Speaking to Party Starter Radio in a recent guest appearance, Moraes says that losing is just simply part and parcel with being a professional fighter.

'Mikinho' stated:

"Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, everybody lost a fight. Now are we going to say they have a failed career? Of course not. We are athletes - we’re going to have good days, bad days, days off, but it’s not failure."

Needless to say, Moraes is one of the most accomplished athletes in the world's largest martial arts organization, and he can't wait to step back into the ONE Championship ring to continue his legendary rise.
