Lito Adiwang has hyped up the upcoming fight between Stephen Loman and Bibiano Fernandes at ONE on Prime Video 4.
With high stakes in the bantamweight division, Adiwang’s fellow Team Lakay representative, Stephen Loman, may find himself with a title shot if he is successful on November 19.
For former champion Bibiano Fernandes, this is his chance to prove that he still has enough left in the tank to compete with the rising contenders in the division he once dominated. Fernandes lost his world championship earlier this year in devastating fashion at the hands of John Lineker, but the title now lies vacant.
ONE flyweight Lito Adiwang believes that the fight will live up to its stakes as his countryman and teammate takes on one of ONE’s most dominant former champions. Adiwang told ONE:

“They say styles make fights and I think it’s going to be a very exciting fight. Their strengths match up well against each other. The fans are going to be happy with how this turns out. It’s going to be explosive.”
With the winner potentially setting themselves up to compete for the vacant world championship against Fabricio Andrade, Stephen Loman vs. Bibiano Fernandes will be a huge fight for the future of the division.
“I deserve to be in a world title fight” - Stephen Loman feels gold is within grasp if he beats Bibiano Fernandes
A bantamweight world championship shot is within ‘The Sniper’ Stephen Loman’s reach if he can secure a win at ONE on Prime Video 4. The No.5-ranked contender will take on former champion Bibiano Fernandes in his biggest test to date.
A win over a legend like Fernandes to add to his current win streak would make Loman’s title aspirations undeniable. In an interview with The MMA Superfan, the Team Lakay fighter gave his thoughts on his current position and the overall state of the bantamweight division:
“I feel that I deserve to be in a world title fight if I beat Bibiano. But right now, I don’t really know what they’re going to do about the world title. I think there will be a rematch between Andrade and Lineker but I should be up for a spot in the next world title match. Fighting for the belt has always been my goal.”
