“It’s going to be on fire” - Rodtang expects Tawanchai and Superbon to blow the roof off Lumpinee Stadium in epic sequel 

Muay Thai superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon has set the tone for one of the most highly-anticipated matches in the sport's history. While unable to forecast how the Tawanchai vs. Superbon will turn out, 'The Iron Man' expects nothing short of an explosive encounter between his compatriots as they collide in combat for the title of ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion.

Rodtang had high praise for both athletes, acknowledging their elite skills and high combat IQ:

"I have to say they both have high IQs in fighting. Tiny window of time you miss, it's the end of the game. It's going to be so much fun exchanging kicks. It's going to be on fire."

The clash between reigning ONE featherweight world Muay Thai champion Tawanchai and challenger Superbon is the much-awaited sequel to their first encounter in ONE Friday Fights 46, where Tawanchai successfully defended his title from the challenger.

The two will face off again on the 24th of January 2025 in the main card event of ONE 170, taking place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok.

While Rodtang can't predict who will emerge victorious in this rematch, he has more to say in his analysis of what makes both contenders dangerous inside the ring:

"Tawanchai is a boxer with brutal weapons and sharp eyesight, and his boxing IQ is high. Superbon is the same. His IQ in boxing is at a master's level. He's the best at adapting his skills on stage. His best move that everyone knows and should watch out for is the neck kicks."
