“I took the welterweight, middleweight belts [in KSW], and any [other] fight didn’t make sense because I beat everyone and I needed something different. And now ONE Championship is a really big different thing. And you can win all the belts in kickboxing, and Muay Thai but it's going to be hard, it's not easy. I want to check everything and we will see. I have a lot of fights in ONE Championship so I will stay for a long time.”

ONE welterweight newcomer Roberto Soldic joins the list of some of ONE’s biggest signings as he gets ready to make his debut inside the circle. Ever since the announcement, there has been a lot of interest and media attention surrounding the Croatian.

On top of his own hype, Soldic’s first fight under the ONE Championship banner is a big one at ONE on Prime Video 5. The new contender will face perhaps his toughest opponent yet on December 2, a Dagestani wrestling machine in Murad Ramazanov, who is yet to taste defeat in his career.
Before he steps foot in the cage, Roberto Soldic sat down with The MMA Superfan to talk about the hype and excitement around his upcoming fight:
"It's a little bit of pressure, but nothing special. I use this pressure in my fights and training. I put in hard work. I don't take time to relax. I'm focused on my goals all the time. And it's not easy, of course, but people expect always that I finish my opponents and everything. This is also more pressure than normal but I handle it well. I don't have any problems with that. I stay grounded, trying to be humble all the time with the guys, with the sparring partners, with my family, with my friends."
