ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world title challenger and French-Algerian legend 'C18' Anissa Meksen believes her next fight is one of, if not the biggest of her storied career. And she envisions total victory at the end of the night.
Meksen is set to square off with Filipina-American striking star Jackie Buntan tomorrow for the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world title. It is Meksen's second attempt at capturing ONE gold, after a failed bid last December against 'The Queen' Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom.
Now that Meksen is a hundred percent and ready to go, 'C18' feels that she is on the cusp of a historic feat.
Speaking to veteran MMA reporter Nic Atkin in a recent interview, Meksen shared her excitement for the upcoming world title matchup with Buntan.

The 36-year-old Korean Tiger Studios representative stated:
"I’m very excited. It’s a new belt, new history, so I’m very happy to be here. Of course, it’s inaugural. It’s historic. So I’m very very happy."
Meksen is one of the most decorated female kickboxing and Muay Thai fighters in history. She joined the world's largest martial arts organization in September of 2021, debuting with a second-round technical knockout victory over Spain's Cristina Morales.
'C18' has since gone 3-1 in the promotion, and now she gets her second shot at immortality.
