Jonathan Haggerty's rise to the top of the striking realm has been well-documented. But the Englishman didn't attain all that success on his own — it was all down to a team of driven individuals behind him.

The 27-year-old striker never needs extra motivation. As one of the most hardworking individuals on the mats, Haggerty sprinted to the pinnacle of the sport, claiming three different world titles in the world's largest martial arts organization in a little over six years.

But a dedicated and world-class team of individuals, led by Knowlesy Academy founder Christian Knowles, played an instrumental role in taking him to the next level.

Speaking on the importance of loyalty in the fight game and why he'd stick with them in victory or defeat during a recent appearance on the Winners Talking Podcast, Jonathan Haggerty said:

"Yeah, it's really important. It's got me quite far in the sport, you know. I've stuck by my trainers, and they've always stuck by me. So it's been teamwork and it's made the dream work."

Jonathan Haggerty teases ONE Championship return

It appears that fans don't have to wait too long before the former two-sport world champion does what he does best on the global stage.

Jonathan Haggerty confirmed that he has a date locked in for his eagerly anticipated return. He took to Instagram with a caption that read:

"We have a fight date! Time to get back to winning ways! @onechampionship"
