Danielle Kelly is motivated to secure a $50,000 performance bonus in her upcoming submission grappling match. At ONE Fight Night 24, Kelly looked to accomplish her first women's atomweight submission grappling world title defense.
Unfortunately for her, Mayssa Bastos had other plans and emerged victorious by unanimous decision.
On Friday, Dec. 6, Kelly will receive an immediate rematch against Bastos at ONE Fight Night 26. The American superstar has been motivated by more than a win, as she had this to say during an interview with ONE:
"And hopefully, beating two world champions, I get a 50k bonus because I feel like I pushed the pace the last match. And even with the Jessa match, you know, I won the belt. Everyone else got the belt and they got a bonus. So that was a little like, alright. Well, you know, it's kind of sad. But, yeah, it's my motivation."

ONE Fight Night 26 will feature two world title fights - Christian Lee vs. Alibeg Rasulov (lightweight MMA in the main event) and Mayssa Bastos vs. Danielle Kelly 2 (women's atomweight submission grappling).
Friday's event inside Lumpinee Boxing Stadium can be seen live by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Danielle Kelly's run in ONE Championship
Danielle Kelly's first ONE Championship appearance took place in March 2022 at ONE X. The Silver Fox BJJ affiliate had already made a name for herself in other promotions and planned to further her legacy on a global platform.
Kelly started her promotional tenure with a draw against Mei Yamaguchi. The American superstar went on to take over the women's atomweight grappling division with wins against Mariia Molchanova, Ayaka Miura, and Jessa Khan.
Kelly's lone defeat under the ONE banner pushed her lifetime BJJ record to 22-10-1. At ONE Fight Night 26, the 29-year-old has an opportunity to regain her world title and avenge her most significant loss.
Heading into Friday's event, Mayssa Bastos holds a ONE Championship record of 2-0. The Brazilian world champion started with a unanimous decision against Kanae Yamada before pulling off the life-changing win against Kelly.
