Lito Adiwang is patiently waiting for his return into action in ONE Championship. Adiwang had experienced an injury sidelined him in March 2022, when he fought against his fellow countryman Jeremy Miado at ONE X. But after a long recovery, he bursted back into the scene with three back-to-back victories.
Those spectacular feats against the likes of Indonesia's Adrian Mattheis, Miado and Danial Williams of Australia launched his status as a legitimate challenger for the upper echelons in his divisions.
Even more so, 'Thunder Kid' feels ready to get back on track, as he told Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview:

"So right now, I’m okay, it’s now 95 percent healed. All good. We assessed the injury this week, I’m okay, I can lift, we’ll just have to watch my progress on the scrambles. I have jiu-jitsu training, so we’ll see what happens during that session. But 95 percent, I’m okay."
He continued:
"I’m still here in Baguio because one of my coaches in Bali also went to vacation, went to his home country. If not next week, I’ll be here for two more weeks, I’ll just finish the program then I’ll fly back to Bali."
Although nothing is set in stone yet, the Soma Fight Club athlete is still confident he would be able to challenge his former teammate, Joshua Pacio, for the throne.
