Christian Lee must accept the way his comeback appearance at ONE Fight Night 26 ended. The two-division MMA world champion visualized a different ending to his lightweight world title war against Alibeg Rasulov on Dec. 6.
The fight seemed to be going in Lee's favor in the first round, but unfortunately, we never got beyond that. In the second round, Lee accidentally poked Rasulov's eye, which resulted in a no-contest.
Reflecting on the outcome in a post-fight interview with the Bangkok Post, Lee said:
"Well, you know, it's all part of the game. And for me, I went out there, I just did what I came out here to do."

Christian Lee came out of a two-year layoff to defend his ONE lightweight world title, which he reclaimed in Aug. 2022. He's also the ONE welterweight world title holder after defeating Kiamrian Abbasov via knockout at ONE on Prime Video 4.
Although he wrapped up his comeback fight on a disappointing note, Christian Lee will most likely resume his rivalry with Rasulov in 2025.
The replay for ONE Fight Night 26 can be streamed via Prime Video in North America.
