Former ONE world title challenger Jackie Buntan will be looking to finally capture the gold in ONE Championship.
Buntan is getting ready to take on her toughest challenge yet in French-Algerian kickboxing icon 'C18' Anissa Meksen early next month, and the 27-year-old Boxing Works representative is full of confidence heading into this match.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Buntan shared her thoughts on this major opportunity, and what it means to her.

The Filipina-American said:
"It would mean the world. Absolutely everything. You know, it’s the reason why I do this. There’s more to it, but that’s obviously the end goal, is you want to work towards something that solidifies your greatness, that solidifies your name in the sport."
Buntan and Meksen are set to battle for the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world title.
The two lock horns at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video, which broadcasts live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, Nov. 8.

As such, the 27-year-old says she is ready to leave it all in the Circle when the time comes.
Buntan stated:
"I bet on myself all the time. I think I’m going to come out victorious, even if it’s a five-round war. I have a feeling this is going to be that type of fight. I know I’m going to have to bring the dog out inside of me and bring it to her."
