Current ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 knew that he gave Takeru Segawa one heck of a beating during their megafight in January at the headliner of ONE 165 inside the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

Superlek acknowledged this during a recent video that ONE Championship posted on Instagram, as the promotion wrote the video's caption with:

""The Kicking Machine" pushed Takeru to the LIMIT 😳 Will Superlek punish Jonathan Haggerty the same way on September 6 at ONE 168: Denver? @superlek789"

Superlek was not the only opponent who tipped his hat to 'The Natural Born Crusher,' as users @_yoginw, @helexia, @mckinney3170, @i_am_an_arsonist69, and @t_umr99 also chimed in with high praise for the Japanese superstar with their comments:

"Its the spirit of the warrior 🔥 he laugh because its usual for happening and because his opponent so brave to take the challenge."
"I've never seen anyone take that many kicks from Superlek and still standing after 5 rounds. It was amazing!"
"I have developed a great admiration for Takeru for staying in that long !🙌"

Superlek to challenge Jonathan Haggerty for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE 168: Denver

After fending off the tough challenges of Takeru and Kongthoranee from his two previous fights, Superlek is now in form to challenge the reigning two-sport bantamweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty in the co-main event of ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6.

The Kiatmoo9 Gym athlete moves up in weight and continues his quest to be a two-sport and two-division world champion. Furthermore, he wants to repeat his success against Haggerty, whom he already defeated during their first encounter six years ago in 2018.

ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena at U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are now available on sale on Ticketmaster.
