"It's Thongpoon’s game" - Lito Adiwang says Thai star Thongpoon has the edge over Danial Williams

Lito Adiwang is a fan of Danial Williams' fan-friendly style. That said, the Filipino warrior expects 'Mini T' to be in for a tough test against Thongpoon PK Saenchai at ONE Fight Night 26.

The Australian-Thai competitor squares off against the PK Saenchai representative in a strawweight Muay Thai clash inside the Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, Dec. 6.

Well aware that this one could be fireworks from the get-go, the striking aficionado said this when asked to pick a winner for this exciting matchup. He told Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview:

"I really like Danial. But let's be honest here, it's Thongpoon’s game. So I think Thongpoon will have the advantage in this match."

The Thai star certainly has all the necessary weapons and tricks to get his hand raised over the three-sport athlete.

Like his compatriots, Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Rodtang Jitmuangnon — both of whom defeated Williams — the ONE Friday Fights graduate has KO power, aggression, and a style that never fails to entertain.

The same, however, can be said for the Perth native, who has displayed all those characteristics throughout his tenure on the global stage.

A win is there for the taking of both superstars. But to do so, they'll need to strike first and control the tempo of the contest if they want to emerge victorious at ONE Fight Night 26.

Thongpoon knows he can't be caught in two minds versus Danial Williams

Though many see this matchup favoring Thongpoon, the striking specialist knows what he has to do to get back into the groove of winning.

He told ONE Championship previously:

"I'm dialed in for this fight. Especially when solving problems in the heat of the moment. I have to think faster."

The 27-year-old carries two consecutive losses against Zakaria El Jamari and Rui Botelho heading into this one. And knowing where his shortcomings were, the PK Saenchai star is ready to fire himself back into the winner's column on Dec. 6.
