Anissa Meksen has already achieved a lot in her kickboxing career but she has one more accomplishment in mind.
The veteran contender wants to become a world champion under the ONE banner before riding off into the sunset.
At ONE 169, she has another opportunity to do just that when she faces Jackie Buntan for the inaugural ONE strawweight kickboxing world championship.
Despite having heaps of experience over her foe in kickboxing, Meksen knows that she can't take anyone for granted.

Buntan still presents a big threat due to her Muay Thai background and as a result, 'C18' is working hard to ensure that she is ready for anything on fight night.
In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Meksen gave fans some brief insight into how she has pulled out all the stops for this next challenge:
"For sure, I will win. I've trained hard now for one month and a half. I'm in the best shape, and I'm ready to fight. I have pushed a lot during every training session. It's my time."
Anissa Meksen has been here many times before
Both Anissa Meksen and Jackie Buntan have previously had opportunities to fight for world championships in ONE.
They were unsuccessful the first time around but at Lumpinee Stadium on Nov. 8, one of them will be crowned champion.
For Meksen, this fight is about using all of her high level experience to negate any physical advantages that Buntan may bring to the table.
At 36 years old, she's been at the highest level for such a long time that she's accumulated a wealth of experience that could be a massive factor in this fight.
Ensuring that she is well prepared is something that Meksen is very used to at this stage and as you can tell by her own comments, she isn't taking this fight lightly.
