Tang Kai has scored many jaw-dropping knockouts in his incredible career, but his latest finish might just be his best one yet.

The Chinese megastar erased all doubts by unifying the featherweight MMA world titles at ONE 166: Qatar last March.

Making that victory much sweeter was that it came at the expense of formidable adversary, Thanh Le.

There certainly was no love lost between the pair of world-class 155-pound fighters, who figured in a back-and-forth encounter at ONE 160 back in 2022.

While Tang narrowly walked away with a unanimous decision win, he couldn't escape criticism from Le and his fans.

Determined not to have the judges involved this time around, the 28-year-old amped the ante and finished off the Vietnamese-American with a brutal right hook followed by some merciless ground and pound.

"It was great, and it was my plan," Tang told ONE Championship in a recent interview.
"Actually I didn’t specifically train that, it’s all about timing, also my team’s guidance was very important," he added.

Tang Kai will seek another highlight-reel finish this coming Friday when he puts the featherweight MMA crown on the line against rampaging challenger Akbar Abdullaev.

Tang Kai promises to showcase new tricks against dangerous foe Akbar Abdullaev

Tang Kai never rests on his laurels, which is quite frankly one of the big reasons behind his success.

Despite the incredible heights he has scaled in MMA, the Chinese star continues to display the hunger he had before he became a world champion.

"I have known my opponents will be stronger and stronger since the day I got the belt, and I am improving myself every day, too. It is what a champion should do,” he told ONE.

The undisputed featherweight MMA world champion vowed to showcase more of his growth at ONE Fight Night 27, where he'll look to end Akbar Abdullaev's undefeated rampage inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

ONE Fight Night 27 will air live in US Primetime free for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
