“It was scary” - Danielle Kelly recalls getting followed to the school bus by bullies

Reigning and undisputed ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world champion Danielle Kelly of the United States had a rough upbringing, having dealt with childhood bullying while growing up.

At one point, Kelly said she was being followed, and as a small girl, she was extremely scared.

Speaking as a guest on The Few Will Hunt show, Kelly detailed her harrowing experience.

The 28-year-old said:

"A month later, I somehow found myself, like, you know, getting followed to the school bus. It was bad, especially, I feel like nowadays, bullying has probably gotten worse with social media, but back then, it was scary. I was a small girl."

Today, no one would dare follow Danielle Kelly anywhere to try to do any harm to her, lest they get choked out in the process.

Kelly is set to defend her ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world title against Brazil's Mayssa Bastos in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 24: Brooks vs. Balart on Prime Video.
