ONE on Prime Video 3 was a whirlwind for John Lineker, who was stripped of his bantamweight world title prior to the bout due to missing weight. The former champ revealed the whole ordeal affected his mindset heading into the fight.
'Hands of Stone' may have been on his way to defeat if not for the illegal groin strike from Fabricio Andrade. Lineker told ONE that his mishap on the scale played a part in his performance:
"It sure messed me up. Not physically, but psychologically. It shook me up a little. I also couldn't impose my game. When I was managing to find myself in the fight, he had already hurt my eye with a right hand, and that got in my way a lot. But what happened on the scale shook me a lot."

Much has been discussed about how close Andrade was to finishing John Lineker prior to the low blow. Yet, the former champ had a few moments of his own early on in the contest.
