The newly crowned UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has returned to his usual ways after a brief hiatus from social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
'Tarzan' recently shared with his fans that he is dealing with a toe infection that's been disturbing his sleep patterns. A few minutes later, he posted an outspoken tweet targeting Americans for being too "comfortable."
Strickland had a divisive opinion about the people from the "giant southern border." He wrote:
"When did Americans get so comfortable with getting f**ked?? I think it started with just the tip, now everyone is just taking it. And if you don't want to take it we got a giant southern border of people happy to take it... You ungrateful Americans technically we don't need you."

The American fighter never shies away from giving unfiltered opinions on various subjects. Not long ago, he shared "the only way to make money" in boxing.
Sean Strickland called boxing a "dirty industry"
The 32-year-old Strickland's admiration for the 'Sweet Science' is evident in his fighting style, but he apparently is not a fan of boxing when it comes to the business side of things.
The Xtreme Couture fighter criticized MMA fighters participating in boxing events to make quick cash. Strickland wrote:
"Boxing is such a dirty industry! Only way to make money in that world is to sell your soul to the devil or be a retired mma fighter."
Boxing fans and even the likes of UFC president Dana White have pointed out that the sport of boxing is dying and can't be fixed.
However, this has not stopped MMA fighters from calling out big names in boxing. Recently Sean O'Malley challenged WBA regular lightweight champion Gervonta 'Tank' Davis for a potential fight in the future.
While Sean Strickland has not called out any boxers after winning the UFC title, he is not one to back away from any fights. 'Tarzan' has entertained sparring sessions with online trolls in his gym. Thus, it's safe to say if given an opportunity to face a boxer, he wouldn't turn it down.
