Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai hit a rough patch in 2024 after a superb run the previous year in ONE Championship's bantamweight Muay Thai division, but he righted the ship in his latest outing.
After an upset knockout loss to Thai-Algerian rising star Nabil Anane in July, 'Left Meteorite' returned to the win column in explosive fashion by finishing fellow compatriot Suablack Tor Pran49 in September.
Speaking with the world's largest martial arts promotion, the Thai standout said this about his eighth win under the ONE banner:
"The win over Suablack, an athlete who has a contract in ONE, is something that I consider very good. It is very important to me. It is a stepping stone that makes me want to get back into the bantamweight rankings."

Blessed with incredible knockout power in his hands and sniper-like precision, Kulabdam's third-round knockout of Suablack was a message to the rest of the division that they should never count him out.
His next foray inside the circle will be on Friday, Jan. 10, at ONE Fight Night 27 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. There, he takes on former ONE bantamweight MMA king-turned-Muay Thai star John Lineker.
Kulabdam surprised by John Lineker's Muay Thai transition
Having been a career-long MMA fighter, John Lineker's decision to compete under Muay Thai rules in 2024 surprised many fans, including Kulabdam.
Kulabdam mentioned in the pre-fight interview for ONE Fight Night 27:
"John is the toughest fighter, even tougher than Nabil. I've heard of him for a long time, and I've watched him fight in MMA, but I never thought he would cross over to fight in Muay Thai."
ONE Fight Night 27 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
