Fourth-ranked ONE atomweight MMA contender Alyona Rassohyna aims to have a triumphant return on Jan. 10 at ONE Fight Night 27 against fellow ranked contender Denice Zamboanga.
Rassohyna and Zamboanga will go head-to-head inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, for the ONE interim atomweight MMA world title and an automatic berth for a unification match with current ONE atomweight MMA queen Stamp Fairtex in the foreseeable future.
In a recent interview with the world's largest martial arts organization, the 34-year-old Ukrainian is eager to prove that she is worthy of cracking a shot for the division's coveted crown, as she said:
"I always knew I deserved another chance to fight for the belt. So it is time to realize my potential, my strengths."

In another recent interview, the Yarost Gym martial artist gave a quick breakdown of Denice Zamboanga's strengths and techniques that she could use during the showdown.
Rassohyna said that 'The Menace' is a well-rounded fighter, but she needs to be wary of her left punches because it catches opponents off-guard, as she revealed:
"I think Denice is good in both the stand-up and [on the ground]. She's well-rounded. You have to pay attention to her left arm. She's an accentuated long-arm hitter."
ONE Fight Night 27, which features two ONE world title matchups, will air from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 10.
