Danial Williams is no stranger to being tagged, and evidently, those attacks had triggered something within himself in a fight.
After ending his four losing streak with a hard earned victory over Banma Douji at ONE Fight Night 25 earlier this month, Williams worked his way to turn the fight into a striking contest and got his hands raised for his performance.
And despite having to absorb many strikes before edging Douji out, the Australian-Thai star believes that those attacks triggered his primal instincts to chase on his prey.

Williams shared his thoughts on how he absorbed those strikes with Sportskeeda MMA in a recent exclusive interview:
"Just getting tagged a little bit in the eye like even throughout training, I got a little bit of a black eye, so I wasn't worried about that in the fight at all."
He explained further:
"In fact, it turns me on when I get a little bit of blood. It turns me right on, just when I have cardio anyway."
Now that Danial Williams has returned to the win column, it is interesting what the future may hold for him in ONE Championship's mixed martial arts and striking ranks.
Danial Williams elated after getting his 'mojo' back and win over Banma Douji
Australian-Thai veteran Danial Williams entered ONE Fight Night 25 with his back against the wall, but he's got his confidence back after snatching a paper-thin decision over Banma Douji from the judges.
Williams was indeed in need of a crucial win after a four-fight skid, and he feels that he deserved the victory after fighting like a man on a mission against a tough opponent in Douji.
In the same exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, he said:
"It means a lot to me because I've been on a skid lately. So it was quite a struggle, the last few fights. So, to get back in the win column really built the confidence. It means a lot to me in terms of confidence."
