Reigning ONE interim heavyweight world champion Anatoly Malykhin is excited to mix it up with another undefeated star, Reinier de Ridder.
Entering the bout as a two-division world champion, ‘The Dutch Knight’ will put his light heavyweight world title on the line against Malykhin in the ONE on Prime Video 5 main event this Friday night.
Malykhin shared his excitement at sharing the circle with such a formidable opponent, telling ONE:
“I'm excited about challenges like that. He's a great fighter, a great athlete. I will be happy to share the circle with him. I'm sure it will be the event of the year. We'll show a beautiful fight that will get millions of views.”

When the two world champions enter the circle in this Friday’s highly-anticipated main event, there will be more than ONE gold on the line.
Both fighters will enter the contest with spotless undefeated records. ‘The Dutch Knight’ is currently sitting on an impressive 16-0 record, seven of which came under the ONE Championship banner, backed by a 71% finish rate. Anatoly Malykhin will enter the bout with an 11-0 record and an impressive 100% finish rate inside the circle, all by way of knockout.
As a classic striker vs. grappler battle between two finishers, ONE on Prime Video 5 will be a can’t-miss event. Fans in North America can catch the event live and for free in U.S. primetime with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Arjan Bhullar says the pressure is on Anatoly Malykhin to KO Reinier de Ridder
ONE heavyweight world champion Arjan Bhullar has not been spotted anywhere near the circle since capturing the heavyweight crown at ONE: Dangal 18 months ago.
Linked to a title unification bout with Anatoly Malykhin on more than one occasion, Bhullar will have his eyes on the ONE on Prime Video 5 main event, potentially scouting his next opponent.
Sharing his thoughts on the impending main event clash, Bhullar believes that all the pressure will be on Malykhin as he is a fighter with more tools to get the job done. He was also sure to throw some shade towards the Russian juggernaut’s way, telling ONE:
“RDR’s stand-up is so sloppy. If Anatoly doesn’t catch him, he’s absolute garbage. So, the pressure’s on both of them to come up with something, but more for Anatoly, in my opinion.”
Will the world-class Brazilian jiu-jitsu game of Reinier de Ridder get the job done once again, or will the power of Anatoly Malykhin be too much for ‘The Dutch Knight’ to overcome? We'll find out this week at ONE on Prime Video 5.
