Brazilian knockout machine John Lineker expects nothing less than a hard-fought battle alongside striking machine Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai at ONE Fight Night 27 on Jan. 10.
That evening inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, 'Hands of Stone' collides against the 26-year-old in a bantamweight Muay Thai joust.
Lineker seeks his third finish in as many appearances in Muay Thai but believes it will be much easier said than done — with his opposite number from Thailand capable of producing the spectacular.
Still, whether or not a highlight-reel moment arrives, the former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion promises fans that they will be in for an absolute treat inside the Thai capital.

Speaking to ONE Championship, John Lineker offered:
"He will certainly be a very tough opponent, but I am very excited to be able to share the ring with an opponent of this caliber. It will be very exciting to have this fight."
As tough as Kulabdam may be, the Brazilian's trademark tool has been nothing short of destructive under the striking-only ruleset.
'Hands of Stone' kickstarted his Muay Thai journey with a blistering KO of Asa Ten Pow at ONE 168: Denver.
Less than a month later, he proved that his debut win was no fluke by battering down Russian slugger Alexey Balyko until the finish arrived at 2:14 of the opening frame.
If history is anything to go by, Lineker and his mighty fists could be heading to another quick night out inside the 'Mecca of Muay Thai'.

John Lineker says MMA crown a top priority in 2025
Though he has been having a field day in 'The Art of Eight Limbs', John Lineker's top priority inside the ONE circle this year lies in his bread and butter of MMA.
In the same interview, the OCS Jiu-jitsu representative admits that his radar is locked on reclaiming the bantamweight gold from his rival and reigning kingpin Fabricio Andrade.
Lineker continued:
"In 2025, I want to have more fights. I want to have great fights and go for the belt, to be champion [in MMA] again."
