If Regian Eersel thinks he's got a full grasp of Alexis Nicolas' capabilities, he'll be sorely mistaken.
The lightweight kickboxing kingpin made this clear ahead of his highly-awaited rematch with 'The Immortal' in the curtain closer of ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs Eersel II on Prime Video this coming Friday at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Nicolas shocked the world last April when he used a crushing right hand to knock down the dominant Eersel and take away his 26 pounds of gold after five rounds.
The Surinamese star, of course, has done his due diligence to counter the Frenchman's missile-like weapons this time around.

However, the new 170-pound kickboxing kingpin is adamant that Eersel hasn't seen everything yet and will be in for another long night.
'Barboza' told ONE Championship:
"Yeah, I work a lot. I work a lot about this [knockdown]. It was not like if you watch this knockdown], it started with the left hook. Try to do the work with me, right hook, big cross. Today, I worked a lot with my team and it’s not like it will be the same for the next fight. It will be harder for him."
Alexis Nicolas says Regian Eersel barely hit him in first match
Apart from landing the most significant strike of the match, Alexis Nicolas says his ability to deflect and evade Eersel's bombs ensured his victory. He told ONE Championship:
"I have a different style. He didn’t touch me, but I was able to touch him. The judge only loved the violence."
He added:
"He got himself punched, I was able to protect myself, he wasn’t able to touch me, but when I hit him, he fell down."
It's going to be hard to top the action of their first meeting, but we know Alexis Nicolas and Regian Eersel will leave it all on the line once more in just a matter of days.
ONE Fight Night 25 will air live in US Primetime on Oct. 4, free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
