Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex has missed out on the in-Circle festivities throughout the year largely due to injury. Still, the three-sport queen used her time on the sidelines to improve as she targets a comeback in early 2025.
The ONE atomweight MMA world champion buckled her knee during a training camp in May for her title defense against former training partner Denice Zamboanga at ONE 167.
At the same time, the Fairtex Training Center affiliate was forced to sit out of her shot at two-division glory against strawweight MMA queen Xiong Jing Nan, the promotion's original ONE 168: Denver headliner.
As painful as it was to miss out on what could have been a career-defining year, the 27-year-old didn't use the setback as an excuse to slack off in her career.

The lifelong martial artist, instead, worked to her tail's end to ensure she caught up with her lessons on the mats up to where her body permitted her to.
Stamp reflected on her race to fitness during an interview with ONE Championship, explaining what she did to make sure she put her time off to good use:
"This year, I spent a lot of time with myself and learned new things. It was a bad year, but not too bad because there were new things and new people to learn from. I could say it was a year of learning."
Stamp ready to resume her quest in 2025
Now, almost at the end of her road to recovery, Stamp is fired up to continue where she had left off in ONE Championship in 2025.
As the saying goes, you can't keep a good woman down. That best describes Stamp's unbreakable spirit to overcome what has been a bump in her otherwise smooth sailing journey in the promotion.
With a world title unification bout on the way — against the winner of the interim atomweight MMA world title tilt between Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna at ONE Fight Night 27 — the Thai knows she must be ready when she receives her opportunity to hop back into action on martial arts' biggest stage.
