Itsuki Hirata said:
“I am really grateful to Chatri and Ham Seo Hee as well for making this possible. I am taking into my heart that fans are really looking forward to this, so I am turning that into my motivation.”
Hirata and Ham were supposed to face each other back in late 2022, but the match fell through after the Japanese star missed weight. After a few months, the two rivals are finally ready to settle the score in Singapore.
Itsuki Hirata is one of the best grapplers in ONE Championship and boasts six wins inside the circle. ‘Android 18’ also has three finishes to her name, all of which were borne out of her punishing use of her judo-centric style of grappling.
Ham, however, is one of the best female fighters and is a true pioneer of the sport. ‘Hamzzang’ is ranked No.2 in the atomweight standings and has a perfect 2-0 record in ONE Championship.
ONE Fight Night 8 is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
