Japanese MMA star and ONE Championship atomweight marvel Itsuki Hirata is looking strong ahead of her much anticipated bout against Ham Seo Hee at ONE 163. 'Android 18' is looking to keep her momentum going after her hand-earned victory over China's Lin Heqin last August.

Part of Hirata's preparation for Lin was cross-training in US gyms, including Serra BJJ and Longo-Weidman MMA in New York. Some of the most glaring improvements Hirata showed after her stint in the US were her boxing skills and her conditioning. The latter being very evident just by looking at her.

In a recent photo posted on her Instagram page, Itsuki Hirata showed off her rather buff physique with her US-based conditioning coach that goes by @bmofit4life:

"Training has changed my body a lot! It's not just training. Thank you for the balance of the meal! I'll be right back to be stronger!"

Any professional athlete knows that proper conditioning doesn't just involve putting in the hours in the gym, it also largely requires a sound and effective diet program. This is where a good conditioning coach comes in. Judging at how thick Hirata's upper body looks against her narrow waist, not to mention her marvelous performance against Lin, it looks like @bmofit4life is doing his job well.

Itsuki Hirata makes quick turnaround after beating Lin Heqin, faces Ham Seo Hee at ONE 163

After her first-ever career loss against Jihin Radzuan at ONE X, Itsuki Hirata bounced back by outclassing Lin Heqin at ONE on Prime Video 1. The 23-year-old rising star decided to keep busy by taking on a new challenge just three months later. The Japanese MMA star will face Korea's Ham Seo Hee on the main card of ONE 163.

'Android 18' is back in the Big Apple with Serra-Longo Fight Team in preparation for her South Korean foe. Ham is fresh out of back-to-back wins over Filipino MMA star Denice Zamboanga and is currently riding an 8-fight winning streak. 'Hamzzang' is the most accomplished and experienced fighter Hirata will face in the Circle. Ham has been around numerous MMA promotions like Rizin and the UFC and has a pro record of 25-8 on top of a pro kickboxing record of 8-3.

If Itsuki Hirata gets past Ham, however, it will surely skyrocket her to main event status and will grant her the first world title shot of her career. All we need to do is wait 'til November 18 to find out if the young Japanese warrior pulls off the biggest win of her career so far.
