A clip of Israel Adesanya has been making the rounds on social media. The context of said clip appears to revolve around a traffic-related dispute. The former UFC middleweiht champion can be seen having a disagreement with an unnamed civilian, with the tension heightening as the two men drew closer.

Fortunately, no blows were thrown and the confrontation never became physical. The exact reason behind the incident hasn't been disclosed, so it is unknown who was responsible. However, Adesanya almost certainly avoided a potential lawsuit by opting out of a physical confrontation.

Naturally, fans on X/Twitter have been having a field day with the incident, which was filmed by another civilian from a fair distance. One fan referenced one of Adesanya's most well-known lines to poke fun at the civilian's inaction when confronted by the ex-middleweight champion.

"Izzy left him frozen like Elsa"

Others, meanwhile, found humor in the civilian's behavior, openly questioning what could have been going through his mind.

"What did that guy think he was about to do??"

More fans continued mocking the civilian for his actions.

"The way he stopped walking when Izzy started laughing and took stance"

Some though, poked fun at Adesanya's conservative counter-striking style.

"He was ready to throw a low calf kick"

The incident took place following the worst run of Adesanya's career thus far, as 'The Last Stylebender' is currently 1-2 in his last three fights, with a two-fight losing streak.

Israel Adesanya isn't the only UFC middleweight champion to experience roadrage

While Israel Adesanya is the latest fighter to hold 185-pound gold to be the centerpiece of a roadside confrontation, he isn't the first. In fact, the man to whom he lost the UFC middleweight title, Sean Strickland, has had multiple road rage episodes. Fans have even taken to uploading compilation videos of them.

Strickland is known for his abrasive, confrontational persona, and it is astonishing that he has not yet been involved in a truly violent road rage incident that has landed him in hot water with the authorities.
