"Izzy said this too" - Fans react to Jiří Procházka accusing Alex Pereira of using "voodoo" and "magic" to win UFC fights

Jiří Procházka believes that Alex Pereira brings an unfair advantage into his fights. However, he isn't accusing 'Poatan' of using performance-enhancing drugs to bolster his performances inside the octagon. Instead, he believes that the UFC light heavyweight champion is benefiting from supernatural influences.

In a recent interview on The MMA Hour, 'Denisa' outlined his belief to Ariel Helwani, before calling on 'Poatan' not to use any alleged forms of magic to enhance his performance, as he would like to have a pure contest.

"Everybody knows he's working with some shamans from his hometown. He believes in some spiritual help from them. I believe too, but I believe in the best performance, in the human performance right here, right now, without no magic, and let's see if Alex can still work like that, because it's working."

Naturally, Procházka's claims drew a tremendous amount of attention from fans on social media, especially on X/Twitter, where a snippet of his interview is making the rounds. One fan joked that the former light heavyweight champion may be suffering from CTE, which is contributing to his allegations.

"Early signs of CTE, jiri needs to see a neurologist asap"

His claims inspired more humor from fans, who poked fun at Procházka's previous loss to Pereira.

"Can you imagine losing the fight and telling everybody Alex magic was too strong."

Another fan compared 'Denisa's' accusations to how fighters often accuse their contemporaries of steroid use, not voodoo.

"Most fighters be throwing out steroid allegations meanwhile Jiri's accusing a man of using voodoo to win"

One fan though, claimed that Israel Adesanya, one of 'Poatan's' greatest rivals, spoke similarly in the past.
