Jack Catterall vs. Regis Prograis headlined a card that took place on Oct. 26 at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England. The bout was months in the making as they were originally scheduled to fight this past August, but got rescheduled after Catterall sustained an injury.
Catterall came in with a 29-1 professional record and riding a three-fight winning streak, including his most recent unanimous decision win over Josh Taylor this past May. Prograis, on the other hand, came into the fight with a 29-2 professional record, looking to bounce back from his WBC light welterweight title loss to Devin Haney last December. Before his title loss to Haney, the 35-year-old had won five consecutive bouts including his WBC light welterweight title win over Jose Zepeda and successful title defense against Danielito Zorrilla.
