Jack Hermansson vs. Roman Dolidze: Height, reach and UFC record comparison

An undisclosed injury caused Derek Brunson to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Jack Hermansson on December 3rd. However, Roman Dolidze stepped-up on short notice to save the show. Hermansson's new opponent will have a slight height advantage against 'The Joker,' standing at 188cm tall.

Hermansson stands at 185cm tall, but has a 4cm longer reach than Dolidze, with the Georgian having a reach of 193cm. 'The Joker' also has much more high-level experience than his new opponent, with Hermansson fighting in the UFC since 2016.

Jack Hermansson has won 10 of his UFC outings, losing on five occasions in the organization. The MMA veteran usually only loses to high-level opposition, losing to the likes of Sean Strickland, Marvin Vettori, Jared Cannonier, Cezar Ferreira and Thiago Santos during his UFC career.

Roman Dolidze hasn't been in the UFC long, making his debut in the organization back in 2020. However, Dolidze has adapted to life in the organization well, losing just one of his six UFC outings.

Trevin Giles managed to beat the Georgian at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Holland. But Dolidze has beaten the likes of Khadis Ibragimov, John Allan, Laureano Staropoli, Kyle Daukaus and Phil Hawes.

Dolidze's last two victories against Hawes and Daukaus both came in the very first round, but Hermansson still represents a large step-up in competition for the UFC newbie.

Jack Hermansson is one of the most recognizable fighters in the MMA world, however, his professional record isn't flawless and is in fact littered with losses. Hermansson's first professional defeat came back in 2012, during the 34-year-old's unsuccessful transition to Bellator.

Daniel Vizcaya managed to beat 'The Joker' via split decision, with Jason Butcher also getting the better of Hermansson under the Bellator banner. However, Hermansson remained unbeaten between 2014 and 2016, earning him a spot on the UFC roster.

'The Joker' made his UFC debut against Scott Askham at UFC Fight Night 93: Arlovski vs. Barnett in September 2016. Jack Hermansson made a successful transition into the UFC, beating Askham via unanimous decision after three rounds of fighting.
