Newly crowned ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world champion Jackie Buntan of the United States and the Philippines is one of the most explosive and exciting fighters on the ONE Championship roster.
But the 27-year-old says pushing forward aggressively isn't exactly her style. In fact, Buntan says she's more of a technical fighter, in what they call in Thailand as a 'Muay Femur'.
Speaking to Val Dewar of DeWar Report on YouTube, Buntan talked about the Muay Femur style which she has tried to adapt to her skill set.

The 27-year-old Boxing Works representative said:
"Man, you know, I studied fights, but I never had someone that I truly wanted to emulate. I think just starting this at a young age, you're kind of able to find what works for you and what feels comfortable for you. But I do know, when I was a lot younger in the sport I really, really loved, like, the beauty of it, the technique of it. So any fighter who showcased that. They call it Muay Femur, like technical style, I love."
Buntan is was last seen in a unanimous decision victory over 'C18' Anissa Meksen at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Prime Video. The event was broadcast live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand last Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024.
