Newly crowned ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world champion Jackie Buntan put up a historic world-title-winning performance at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video and was understandably in a celebratory mood.
The 27-year-old loves to celebrate huge wins with her favorite Filipino food. Unfortunately, it was hard to find in Bangkok, but that didn't stop the Filipina-American star from craving.
Speaking to Combat Sports Today in a recent interview, Buntan revealed what her go-to Filipino dish is.

The Boxing Works product said:
"Oh, man, you know, I couldn't, I couldn't get any Filipino food, obviously, out in Thailand. But my favorite Filipino dish is 'daing na bangus', it's like a fried milkfish that you marinate in vinegar and garlic and pepper, and then deep fry it. Just that with some garlic rice. That's my favorite dish, I could eat that all day."
Buntan scored a unanimous decision victory over legendary French-Algerian kickboxer 'C18' Anissa Meksen to capture the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world title.
ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video took place live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday, Nov. 9. Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action via replay on-demand with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
